Lego Cam Newton
The piece of art work that I chose is very interesting. I chose to do a sculpture resembling one of the best rookie players in the National Football League, Cam Newton. The sculpture is made solely of yellow legos. Legos are very simple building blocks which allow kids, as well as sculptures to create very magnificent things. they also allow for great texture to be added to a work. They create a very lifelike figure including the muscles in his arm and even the facial features. Whenever Cam Newton scores a touchdown, he acts as if he is trying to tear the jersey off his chest. This sculpture resembles this action. This sculpture is also very interesting because it leaves a very empty space in the middle of his chest in which even more legos are pouring out.
