Real or Drawn?

This drawing is created by a 17 year old, Chilean artist named Fredo. This piece seems to be drawn with charcoal, since there are chalk like shading and the black coloring is pure black. He utilizes real objects to give the drawing more levels of space and implied space. Even though the light does not provide the shadows, keeping sections of the arm lighter then others and providing a shadow were the actual light wouldn't hit manipulates your mind and tricks you into believing this is not drawn. The charcoal works great with this art, it gives it more of a mysterious creepy felling. A pencil would not give that intense black color and any liquid media like ink would warp the paper and ruin the darker sections.
