Conceptual Art

This is an example of conceptual art. I chose this piece because it takes an ordinary object, the tree, and transforms it into an extraordinary one. The owl carved in and making it seem as if it truly belongs there is amazing. The detail of the owl is so percise and displays an enormous amount of texture. This takes a simple object and turns it into  something completely out of the norm.
